Kingfisher / Bong State Recreation Area, Brighton, Wis.
Red-tailed hawk / Bong
This chukar, right, was scampering through Bong State Recreation Area in Brighton, Wis. The species originally was brought from Europe as a game bird. This one probably was raised on a game farm and was released in the area or escaped.
